There was an issue with my car not being ready because of my text authorising work was not received. However I received a confirmation text from BMW. This was frustrating but Min gave me a courtesy car and was very apologetic.

When I rang to book my service and MOT, I was advised that the cost would be £536. When I arrived for the service, the service team said my car did not need a full service and the cost would be £157. Brilliant but get this right at first call.

Waited almost 3 hours for a 5 minute re-MOT of new tires. The actual job took the technican 10 mins including getting the car on and off the ramp. Because the job took so long I was late for work.

As described above there is not sufficient attention to detail which is one of the reasons why we first chose BMW. Our car was given a MOT and failed due to cuts in tyre. Both tyres replaced, however the MOT Certificate still had an Advisory.

My car has been in and out of BMW for the last few years following recalls. This time I asked for a courtesy car and was told quite sternly that I had to top up the fuel on return. Given the amount of inconvenience this should not be necesssary.

The Service element itself was dutifully delivered - but the service invoice was confusing due to the undisclosed analysis of VAT calculations on discounted items and the VAT calculations on non-discounted items. It was all there but rather hidden.

The level of service was superb. The only slight negative, and it is very slight, was that I was contacted and told my car was almost ready and I would be called an hour later to confirm this was the case. I didn't receive the final phone call.
